WALK ON MELTING ICE【On the frozen lake in early spring!】
Melting Season Lake Shikaribetsu is a lake that freezes completely. Somewhere of the lake keep icing for about half a year, and with the rise in spring temperatures. The ice melts all at once. The time when this ice melts. This is called the melting season. Your guides will take you to experience the fun of melting ice! Normally, this is a place that you would not be able to approach because it is dangerous. With safe equipment and a nature guide, the spring lake becomes a beautiful and fun field to explore. The biggest feature of walking in the melting ice is that you wear dry suit and float on the water warmly. Dry suits are garments made of neoprene material that are worn over regular clothing. Even on the cold lake, you will not feel cold and your clothes will not get wet. Because of the material, it floats on the water, so it doesn't matter even if you can't swim. Tour Guides and Assistance Staff This tour will be led by two guides. One guide provides explanation and guidance. Another guide supports safety management. We hope to provide every participant with an experience of enjoying nature with peace of mind. 【Notice】 Lake ice may melt faster depending on weather conditions. If the range of activities becomes smaller before the end of the experience period, the activity may be changed to a Canadian canoe experience. .(We will inform you in advance.)

What to Bring
- Clothes that are easy to move in.(A long sleeve,long pants and long socks are recommended. Wearing too much clothing will make you feel cramped and hot. )
- You can also bring a camera or cell phone with you（Waterproof packs are available for rent. Although it is a category of self-responsibility, you can bring your own camera etc. freely.Please be careful about getting wet or submerged.）
