Let's take a walk through the forest with the nature guide. 【Riverside Forest Tour】 It is a tour that focuses on the river and explore at the nature of Lake Shikaribetsu. Walk along the pristine river called "Yanbetsu" that flows into Lake Shikaribetsu. This river is a spawning stream for the endemic subspecies of Lake Shikaribetsu, "Miyabeiwana". The surrounding area is connected to a large forest that serves as a water resource. Let's quietly stare at the connection between the forest, the river, and lives. Walk about 800m in 150minutes.

Go back to Nature Center
Take the car of Nature Center and move to the experience site.
Preparation before departure
Put on your wader and get ready to walk the river.
Walk to the stream
Take a walk along the Stream Yanbetsu. FEATURES OF THIS TOUR ・Wearing a wader and walk along the stream. ・Observe the connection between the forest and the waterside.
Take Off
Return to the starting point and take off the wader.
Go back to Nature Center
Driving back to Nature-Center and the tour ends.

- For safty,if you are pregnant,you will not be able to participate in the tour.
What to Bring
- Clothes that long sleeves and long trousers that are easy to move in.
- Your elbows may get wet, please wear a top that you can roll up your sleeves.
- The warm appearance(The water temperature is about 12 ℃ even in summer. Especially, please protect your lower body from the cold.)

- You can also bring a camera or cell phone with you,although it is a category of self-responsibility.(Most of time is out of service.)
- It is an experience in the river.If the guide deems the conditions to be too dangerous,like flooding due to the previous day’s rainfall,tour may be canceled for safty.
